Zomato Gold Launch – The New Color Of Eating

HOW WE TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO US

The Challenge

Zomato Gold is a paid F&B subscription program for consumers wherein they can avail complimentary dishes and drinks at Gold partner restaurants currently 12,000+ restaurant partners and a million plus Gold members globally. Zomato would like to build hype and buzz around the program benefits and the launch. However nobody knew about Zomato Gold or what it was. People were going to take convincing.

The Idea

It roughly translates to “the new color of eating”. Mutual sound, “Ye” means “eat” in Turkish. As far as inter-politics go, we can’t focus on drinking. Not in the slightest. Instead, we will own eating in İstanbul. Repetition of the sound “ye” will make us memorable and to the point. Having “new” will turn heads as in, “Hey, I am new here, check me out!”. Implication of the color gold will help us communicate our premium brand values while connecting everything together with room to diversify.
